Adults, do you like to ride a bicycle? Do you ride for fun or exercise? What brand & model?

I like to ride for fun. Ok, the exercise is good too. I am thinking of getting a new bike, but I am not sure just what I want. I usually stay with a Trek.

I am a 57 yr. old female (guess that makes me an adult). I learned to ride at age 51 (guess that makes me a kid) I ride for fun, exercise and a couple of times a week the last 14 miles of my 35 mile commute to work. I usually ride 100 + miles a week. I currently ride three bikes. My road bike is a Specialized Ruby Comp, my MTB is a Trek 4500 and my commuter / all purpose bike is a Specialized Vita Elite. When shopping for my road bike and the all purpose bike I found that I got the better components for my $ with Giant and Specialized. It came down to which was the most comfortable and best fit, which ended up being the Specialized models. When shopping for my MTB I found Trek to be best deal and best bike for my needs. When shopping for bikes, do not forget to check out the customer services and reputation of the bike shops as well as the bikes themselves.

I've been riding a bicycle pretty much every day for over 40 years, so if I didn't enjoy it, that would be pretty sad.

I don't ride for fun or for exercise. I ride for transportation. I never bought into the whole car culture thing - to me it seemed like a money pit. So I never learned to drive and never owned a car. Instead I learned to drive my bike.

I ride a 1997 Jamis Aragon that I converted to a touring bike. I also ride a 2012 Trek Verve 1. I also ride two 1973 Raleigh Grands Prix (though not at the same time). Occasionally I ride my wife's 1998 Trek 820.

I ride for fun and exercise and have several different bikes for different places to ride. Road bike for the road, hybrid for the road and smooth bike paths, comfort bike for rougher bike paths, and a mountain bike for off road in soft dirt or rocky areas.

You want a bike that is designed for where and how you want to ride and one that fits.

I ride for fun but I also have my eye on trying to break the over 40s time trial record for my region and I feel it's a realistic aim and I have a training schedule that's geared up to trying to achieve that in the near future.

I use cycling as my main form or cardio workout. I have loved cycling since a child. I ride daily. I run weekly as a Soccerref. Itnseems that they work well together. In soccer season, the running keeps me in shape for cycling.mthe rest of the time, cycling keeps me in shape to referee.

"Adults, do you like to ride a bicycle?" - Yes

"Do you ride for fun or exercise?" - BOTH + basic transportation. NO car!

"What brand & model?" - Which one? I own four.
