how to make a crochet beanie?
specifically one with cat ears.
im trying to make a cat hat, and im failing badly.
i just want to know how to make the beanie and im thinking of adding the cat years on by sewing it on.
please help!!! (btw, im kind of new to crocheting. i know some terms like single crochet, double crochet, slip knot, etc. but sometimes everything gets confusing. a video would be nice, but simple directions will do just fine)

Here's a pattern for crocheting a beanie--any size--with bear ears. http://claresaddictedtoyarn.blogspot.com/2011/08/c...
Cat ears would be similar, only pointed.
Here's a pattern for crocheting a beanie with not only cat ears but also cat eyes.
Ears, no eyes.

In all my years of crocheting (lots) i have under no circumstances been ready to beat this crisis fully. In single color work, that you could work in a spiral - when you come to the top of the first row, just work the subsequent sew in the first with out making a slip stitch or chain. You may have to mark the opening of the row with a safetey pin to work this manner. With stripes, make the last loop of the last stitch on each colored row with the yarn for the subsequent stripe. This will likely make the change rather less apparent. The one other solution to make them healthy is to work again and forward and the join with a seam - now not an ultimate resolution either.
