Can you get arrested for admitting on using illegal drugs on a lie detector test for a police job?
Like for the harris county sheriff office?

No you cannot for admitting past use. Not only in Houston but anywhere in the US.
UNLESS you are talking about when on probation or parole. Then they cannot arrest you for the past use but for the violation of the probation or parole.
Even though a lie boss is normally not admissible in Texas court it is good enough for a violation.
If you are trying to be hired then Harris County does not DQ you for use 4 or more years past that was experimental.

The Sheriff Office puts applicants on a lie detector test. Get real! They don't need that it will be detected on the blood sample you have to supply as part of the recruitment. They can pick up traces of illegal drugs taken ten years prior and no they wont arrest you just kick your *** out the door for wasting their time.

No - polygraphs aren't admissible as evidence in court. But your application might be rejected.
