Fresh meat: meat (ex pork) should be cooked no more than 3 hours after the animal was killed. Ex, you kills a chicken & you cook it in 3 hours later---> you are cooking fresh meat.

Fresh food means you eat immediately after the food was cooked, put it into the fridge & eat later
is not considered as fresh food.

I knew in western countries, the vegetables were harvested from the field for 1 week & were sold in supermarket, then it is still called fresh vegetable. Ex, broccoli that u see in supermarket probably was 1 week old since it was harvested from the field.

Also, in US, the meat was fresh even it was stored in the fridge (in supermarket) for many days.

In overall, American people does not seem to be more healthy than many other countries.
