If you are willing to travel to Summerlin which is about 30 minutes away there is the Le Cordon Bleu Cooking School Restaurant. Alot of famous chefs have come from here. You get 3 gourmet courses and a non - alchoholic drink for $18.95. They will usually have one steak, one veal, one pork, one chicken, and one vegetarian dish.

Del Frisco Double Eagle Steak House is another good bet, but this restaurant tends to be on a the pricer side. They just emailed me their latest special; $99 for two dinners. It's good until September 3rd, but they will probably have another special afterwards.

The cheapest steak place on the Strip that I know of is the late night (11pm - 6am) steak and egg dinner at Bill's for $6.99. I've never eaten here so I don't know how good it is. You can't beat the price, though.

If you want inexpensive buffets, try the Station Casinos. They have decent buffets for about $9.99. The closest one to the strip is the Palace Station. There is also the Texas Station, Aliante Station, Sunset Station, and Boulder Station. The only two that I've tried was the Aliante Station and Texas Station. Both were very good. Next to the Texas Station there is as the Fiesta which has a $3.99 breakfast buffet and a $5.99 dinner buffet; I've been wanting to try the buffet here but I've haven't gotten around to going yet.

Finally, there is the Heart Attack Grill on Fremont Street. They make obscene sized hamburgers and have nurses bring you the food. I've also heard that if you are over 350 pounds that you will get your meal for free.

Also on Fremont Street is the Four Queens Casino. If you get a player's card here they will give you a b1g1 coupon for Magnolias. It's kind of dinerish, but good. Main Street Station on Main Street near Fremont has good whiskey hot dogs. They are about $5 if you get them plan, but cost $7 or $8 if you want cheese and stuff on it.

You can cut down the cost by using coupons:
