I know exactly how you feel. I'm 14 and 5"9 , and yes, for the most part , I haven't really liked it either. I've heard it all before, the "Don't worry sweetie , someday you'll love it." or "The boys will start catching up soon." or "You should a model." Yeah, it sucks sometimes, but being short isn't very much fun either. I have a really short friend that would kill to be my height. Here's some perks to being tall, and some tips :)
-Seniors. Once you find your confidence, you can go after the tall senior boys, and forget the whiney gr 9's. Time to upgrade. I enjoy the senior basketball team.
- Coffee helps to stunt your growth , but don't drink too much or you'll get insanely hyper and start bouncing around like a 5-year old.
-If you're taking a picture, get a friend to do it for you, and get them to stand on a stool, and take the photo from an angle. The angle actually makes you look shorter and is great for full body pictures.
-Heels probably aren't the best idea, since it'll make you feel even taller, but keep a couple pairs on hand, for when you find a guy that's taller than you. Us tall girls actually look pretty ******* sexy in heels, because we happen to have like, the longest legs ever....it's such a shame. But there are guys out there that are like 6'0 , 6'2 ...like i said earlier, basketball team.
-Modelling. It's not really my thing, even though everyone seems to think that...but that doesn't mean you can't try it. Guys happen to love girls that are models. Even if they're shorter than those girls. Seriously.
-And also, don't forget to insult everyone that insults your height. Like if someone says, "Why the f*ck are you so tall?" Be all like, "Who cares, I'm ******* hot, and you're at the perfect height to KISS MY ***!" Take pride in yourself, anyone who insults you, Is nothing more than a jealous midget who can't even get **** off shelves.
It's taken me a long time to adjust to my height, i'm just starting to become comfortable with it now. Hope I helped (:
I'm a skyscraper. I understand.
