    A degree in ECS is not a teaching qualification, so No you can't teach with this degree
    You can however check if any of the units of your degree crossover with the PGCE
    An ECS allows you to work in Pre school establishments, not in primary schools

    Jan 409 doesn't seem to have read your question.
    Be pre-emptive and explain why the change in age group in applications but your degree could well be more relevant than some such as history.
