Hast thou ever wished to have lived in the 14th,15th or 16th century?

I have lived in the 16th century...1634 to be precise,I was born in 1634 and bitten by a vampire in 1648...since than I have spent my time surviving, and learning about human history, culture and technology...but I must warn thou that in the past, life was very displeasing and no living soul knew of vehicles, electricity or even concrete structures and housing...if thou hast ever wished to have lived in past centuries I suggest that ye rethink thou wishes

I wish I could take modern technology, like a jet and a machine gun back to the revolutionary war. Beat Britain in a day. :P

Thou hast in wrong, friend, 1634 is in the 17th Century.

But I enjoyed your tale of longevity.

I know--I lived in the 16th also; no vampire involved--

I had so much work to do I had to stay around to finish my'

wife's to-do list. And I can tell thine hearers

    thou speakest truth.

Smallpox, plague, wars, bad hygiene, the lack

of rights, religious persecution--it was even worse

than the twenty first century in those respects.

Be careful in wishing--you might get what you

    have asked for.

Thanks to thee for thy story.

Aye... that I might proceed into the Western Americas that I might procure vast tracts of land, and deed them to myself for use in the 21st Century.

I beg to differ on a few counts...

Vehicles existed - carts, carriages, and wagons.

Concrete was in use by the Ancient Romans... it did fall out of use until the 16th Century when it returned.
