I love the Olympics! It's been my life this week from basically the time I wake up to the time I go to sleep. (the only thing I don't enjoy is dodging spoilers on the web and from the TV, so the 8 PM primeime airing shows big events like swimming and gymnastics)
I love so many events. I actually haven't been watching a whole lot of tennis, just because I watch it year round, yet I rarely get to watch the more obscure events. So I've watched little tennis (that will change tomorrow when I WILL be watching Zvonareva vs Serena, shamelessly rooting against my country. Also looking forward to Lisicki vs Sharapova the next day).
Events I love: gymnastics, swimming, football, indoor volleyball, and beach volleyball.
Gymnastics is the most emotional event. I especially like the womens. 16 years of these little girls lives being put into a less than 5 minute routine. I am SO proud of my Olympic All-star US women team: The Fab FIve! After the saddest moment of the Olympics, and at the same time the most touching (it depended on which girl u were rooting for) when Raisman edged out Wieber for a slot in the individual all around (I wanted Raisman to win, but even I could not bare the sight of poor Wieber crying). But she got redemption when she, adorable Gabby Douglas, sassy Mckayla Maroney, leader Aly Raisman, and ever solid Kyla Ross won Olympic team all around gold for the first time since 96! I'm still excited and happy for them!
BQ: POLE DANCING. for real though. I also think Lacrosse should be in the Olympics
BQ2: I don't think so. Why should they lose that special moment?
BQ3: I'm so into that game., I love football!
