The Lakers. They have way too much talent not to be. Steve Nash, Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, Ron Artest, and Andrew Bynum in one line-up is crazy. And the thing is, they will all work together. Nash and Gasol are going to be perfect for each other because they now have an unstoppable pick-and-roll. Unstoppable....Kobe now benefits because he has to do less to help out Gasol and can relax and focus on defense and catch-and-shoot shots from Nash. Bynum now can get his points in the low-post. Nash will be throwing lobs and the ball to Bynum a lot. He will benefit as well. Plus Artest can focus on defense and score off spot-up 3's. Plus the Lakers have a decent bench now. They just signed Antawn Jamison, who can play the SF and PF positions. They have Jordan Hill who can play the PF and C positions. And they have a decent PG in Steve Blake. If they just sign one more big-man and a guard the Lakers will have a good bench. So an excellent starting lineup and a good bench with tons of hunger, shooting, experience, and skill isn't the best in the west? Please..Lakers are the best in the west.
Honorable Mention: Phoenix Suns and Utah Jazz

Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Grizzlies don't have the firepower to keep up with the Thunder.

No, I'm sure there are some other delusional people in Memphis that believe this as well.
OKC is still the best team in the West.
