It is both! We fast for the whole day and breakfast at dusk.

    And it is a feast.

After the month has ended we have Eid which is a feast.

We get best of both worlds in Ramadan.

Ramadan is the 9th holy month in the Islamic lunar calendar. We observe fasting from sunrise to sundown, every day of the month, and pray in a more intense manner.

The "feast" every night followers Iftar, which is the sundown prayer. A the end of Ramadan, the holiday Eid is an enormous celebratory feast.

Fast. Basically, we wake up at 3 or 4 (depends on where you live) in the morning and we eat during that time until its time to pray the first prayer (Fajr) and thats when we fast until its maghrib (4th prayer)

Sorry if I couldnt explain it well
