Are gold coins okay to use in freshwater aquarium?

hey guys, I have some pure gold coins that Id like to use as decoration. Knowing that gold does not experience any chemical reaction/changes with water, would it be safe to use in an aquarium? Please let me know, thanks in advance :)

Can't say for sure if they are real. Some fakes are made of copper on the inside. Better send them to me for checking them individually.

Not a problem at all unless you are concerned about getting the coins dirty themselves. They won't affect the chemical balance of the Aquarium in any way.
