Can you use a deactivated iPhone for music and apps ?

My uncle is getting a new iPhone and giving me his old one, deactivated. Can I still use it for like and iPod and stuff?

Yes without a sim it still can be used to play games for music and safari over wifi so it is basically an iphone without callin or texting but u can get apps for that too 10 points plz hope i helped:p

Yes, it will work just like an iPod would. You won't be able to make calls, use data (other than wifi), or text message.

If you use wifi, yes you can. Or just activate it too. Depending on your phone service provider.
