Help with Items list on Quickbooks, please..for my sanity?

Currently trying to make sales receipts, primarily for used farm equipment, etc. So, it isn't your typical inventory, like 100 fuel filters. Each sale will be different - different equipment and different prices. Each sale will be different - different equipment and different prices. First, I don't know what "type" of item these would be since none listed are clear descriptions of what I've got going on. Second, if I figure out what "type" to categorize these sales, will they constantly come up the same price and I'll have to edit and create a new "item" for each piece. Sorry if this is elementary. I'm self-teaching here. I'd appreciate any help.
