Semi Final Round | Super XV | Your Picks?

So it's the last game before the big dance and we have 4 teams left which will end up being 2 by the end of this week, and with that horrible introduction, here is what we are looking at:

Semi Final Round:

Chiefs vs Crusaders

Robbie Robinson, Tim Nanai-Williams, Andrew Horrell, Sonny Bill Williams, Asaeli Tikoirotuma, Aaron Cruden, Tawera Kerr-Barlow, Kane Thompson, Tanerau Latimer, Liam Messam, Brodie Retallick, Craig Clarke (c), Ben Tameifuna, Mahonri Schwalger, Sona Taumalolo.

Reserves: Hika Elliot, Ben Afeaki, Mike Fitzgerald, Sam Cane, Brendon Leonard, Jackson Willison, Lelia Masaga

Wyatt Crockett, Corey Flynn, Ben Franks, Luke Romano, Samuel Whitelock, George Whitelock, Matt Todd, Richie McCaw (c), Andy Ellis, Dan Carter (vc), Zac Guildford, Ryan Crotty, Robbie Fruean, Adam Whitelock, Israel Dagg.

Reserves: Quentin MacDonald, Owen Franks, Tom Donnelly, Luke Whitelock, Willi Heinz, Tom Taylor, Sean Maitland.

Referee: Craig Joubert (South Africa)

Should be a classic match featuring great head-to-head battles - Cruden vs Carter, Kerr-Barlow vs Ellis, Latimer vs McCaw. Read still unable to recover so will miss this weeks qualifier, will the Chiefs muscle up or will the Crusaders' experience march them into a final next week?

Stormers vs Sharks

Joe Pietersen, Gio Aplon, Juan de Jongh, Jean de Villiers (capt), Bryan Habana, Peter Grant, Dewaldt Duvenage, Deon Fourie, Rynhardt Elstadt, Siya Kolisi, Andries Bekker, Eben Etzebeth, Brok Harris, Tiaan Liebenberg, Steven Kitshoff.

Reserves: Frans Malherbe, Deon Carstens, De Kock Steenkamp, Don Armand, Louis Schreuder, Burton Francis, Gerhard van den Heever.

Louis Ludik, JP Pietersen, Tim Whitehead, Meyer Bosman, Lwazi Mvovo, Frederic Michalak, Charl McLeod, Ryan Kankowski, Marcell Coetzee, Keegan Daniel (captain), Anton Bresler, Willem Alberts, Jannie du Plessis, Bismarck du Plessis, Beast Mtawarira.

Reserves: Craig Burden, Wiehahn Herbst, Steven Sykes, Jean Deysel, Jacques Botes, Odwa Ndungane, Riaan Viljoen.

Referee: Steve Walsh (Australia)

Another local derby and this time the table-topping Stomers will look to book a place in the Final with a victory over the Sharks, the Sharks however have been floating under the radar the whole season and are now a win away from the big dance, again without star Patrick Lambie, will they overcome the odds?

BQ1: How many penalties will be converted in the Saders/Chiefs match?

BQ2: Your margin for Stomers/Sharks?

Like before it's first in first serve, take your picks and the person with the most correct gets BA. If draw we go the BQs, if inconclusive then it's the first post - You know the drill

Uh oh, we have a tough guy here already...

Update 2:

@Charlie: All good :)

The Chiefs to win narrowly by playing out of their skins. That's the only way they are going to win because the Crusaders man for man are superior.

The Sharks to beat the Stormers because they are getting better while the Stormers are struggling to maintain their top form --- they just beat the lowly rated Rebels.

Sorry Swoope -- I'm no good at picking scoring details or winning margins.

Sharks to beat the Reds even though they do not have Steyn, Lambie or Du Toit! So no crap excuses that there is not any Cooper! Bulls over Crusaders most effective because of loyalty, nonetheless beating a quality crew like the Crusaders on house turf is a bloody gigantic name! BQ1 Sharks by way of 10 BQ2 Bulls with the aid of three I additionally agree that there will have to be neutral Refs!

    Hi Swoope,

I'll keep this short and sweet, Crusaders by 12pts and Stormers by 15pts.

Robbie Fruean possibly playing for AB centre position perhaps?
