Easy songs that will actually blow people away?

Give these all a run, they will actually help you progress (thus some are challenging, but not too hard)

and will sound a lot better than just doing really simple beginner songs.

Elephant Man- Mastodon (transitions to acoustic very well, if not better)

    Rush- Closer to the Heart-

Rush- Hope (hope you're comfortable with different tunings, but it is worth it. This song may sound hard, but it is RIDICULOUSLY easy)

    Youtube thumbnail

Queensryche- Silent Lucidity (a sad, sad, beautiful song. VERY VERY EASY)-

    In Flames- Acoustic Medley:

First song I learned on acoustic was Sweet Home Alabama.

Play in public and people will sing along. Don't mess up though, it ruins it. Had to learn the hard way. :/

How long it takes to learn guitar depends on how good you want to get and how much practice you put in. How good you can get with 1-2 hours a day for a few months depends on what methods you use to practice. There are effective practice methods that will help you make the best use of your time. This course is one of the best. It's not just about how much you play but how effectively you play that will determine how good you will get.

The Moldy Peaches - Anyone Else But You. Two chords, easy to remember rhythm. It's a fun song to learn. You may have heard it on the Juno soundtrack.
