indegestion/acid reflux causing stinging pain over left side of chest?

I have been to the hospital 3 times now. A few months back I got shortness of breath, and freaked out, they said it was a panic attack. They had given me a chest xray and EKG. Both good. The 2nd time, my blood work was great, no blood clots, ekg was fine. Now I went to my doctor and he said I may have asthma. Well the inhaler doesn't really help, and Ive already been back in the ER last week and again, chest xray fine, however they didn't run an EKG this time. So it's minor asthma or w/e... anyways for the past few days I have felt like I am full, want to burp all the time, like I have a huge knot in my throat. And now every few minutes I have a shooting, stabbing like pain that lasts for a split second accross where my heart is. It's freaking me out... Is that normal with acid reflux? I also of coarse have the accompanied knot in my throat and bubbly stomache.

I was first diagnosed with GERD, my doctor specifically told me it was a condition I would have to live with. Luckily I stumbled onto this website and ordered this wonderful bookhttps://tr.im/GetRidOfAcidReflux

I was prescribed Lansoprazole which was brilliant but after two years of aching joints, extreme muscle pain which the doc gave me cortisone jags for, with some research I discovered the drug Lansoprazole was causing these rare side effects but it was I who diagnosed it NOT my doctor, I came off the drug 2 months ago, changed my diet and discovered just eating an apple stops any acid reflux, I eat an apple before bed, brilliant no acid, any time I feel the slightest sign of reflux I simply eat an apple.

Apple juice is not that good nor is anything else I have tried including honey at stopping reflux.

Apple is a god send for keeping acid at bay, brilliant.

I have been plagued with acid reflux, leaky gut, constipation, reflux esophagitis and dyspepsia for years and nothing conventional medicine has offered really helped, at least not in the long run. By following only the first step in this book.

You need to see a Doctor and get it checked out. It doesn't sound like a Heart condition, (the pain you get from most conditions isn't sharp and they don't go away in the way you describe or last 7 hours) but it isn't possible for anyone even with Medical training to tell you what it is, without a full examination. It's even possible that it's coming from somewhere like your gall bladder, or a trapped nerve. I had similar sounding pain from one. Don't take chances, make an appointment!

Sounds like what I experience. I take Omeprazole (Prilosec OTC) twice a day, and to be honest, I don't know how I would survive without it. I still get reflux, so I have to watch how I sleep or I wake up gagging, but it cuts the acidity way down so that I don't get heartburn. Fun stuff. Of course, your doc will give you the best advice.

use baking soda and water and if that doesn't bring everything up I would go back to the doctor and tell him to test me again for heart problems
