Should the Cubs trade Dempster?

Personally I think they should get what they can for him while he's found lightning in a bottle. What do you think?

Yes. Cubs need to trade Dempster for a few highly regarded AA, AAA and.or MLB players to fill pitching, 3rd baseman and outfield spots.

Soriano also needs to be traded even if it means the Cubs eating his contract. With a promising core group of Castro, Rizzo and Soto, the Cubs have to develop younger talent that will be the foundation for future years - and Championships!

Yes, the Cubs need to rebuild. I hope Dempster does not get traded to the Red Sox. The last thing The Red Sox need is another quick fix. Quick fixes have hurt this team.

Absolutely, they obviously aren't going anywhere this year, and at 35 years old Dempster is not going to be someone who is going to be part of the Cubs' future. And it's not like it's going to effect their attendance at all, people seem to go to Wrigley no matter what. They are in rebuilding mode and should absolutely trade Dempster and get some young talent back. It makes no sense to keep him.

Yes because the Cubs should be improved more that way Dempester can move into another team
