Does This SSD make my computer faster?

Crucial 128 GB m4 2.5-Inch Solid State Drive SATA 6Gb/s it doesn't cost much so i thought it would be perfect for me. Or should i buy the same with 256 GB ?

Update:

I'm about to build a computer with Western Digital Caviar Black 1 TB SATA III 7200 RPM 64 MB Cache

and i just need the SSD for Windows files.

I have that same model. I installed Windows and all my programs on it and keep all my personal files on an older HDD I have. Windows 7 boots in about 6 or 7 seconds, and every single program I load opens instantly so it's a definite speed improvement.

If it's going to be your only drive then go for the 256GB. If you already have another drive and just want to put Windows and programs on the SSD then 128GB is easily big enough.
