Netflix business model. ?
Why does netflix jerk their customers around? One month youcan watch the all the seasons of the cosbys, all of Roseanne, and Soapdish when the next month it disappears. What is that about?

The business model is this:
* Netflix buys DVD's and BluRay to send out with their mail-order business.
* Netflix negotiates a yearly fee to stream some shows or movies from a hollywood studio for 1-2 years
Some of the other streaming companies (Apple, Amazon, Blockbuster) are going behind the scenes to the Hollywood studios and asking the studios who own the whole series to bump the price for Netflix by x5, if they will sign a contract with some other site for longer term.
This is working.

Netflix does not control how long they have a title, however most titles are available longer than a month. The Cosby Show and Roseanne were there for at least a year.

Quit whining. the content owners are responsible for the length of time the programming is available, not Netflix.
