It depends on your type of skin and if you take care of it. I know some things that can prevent and get it to go mostly away if you or any of them want to know. :o
I'll list some things that I have tried and work..
- Honey mask. Just put about one tsp. or enough to cover the part of your face that has ance. I put it over all of my face. It's supposed to tighten your face, also. My skin looked better the next day.
- Zeno Heat Treat : Blemish Prevention Treatment. It works really well, and can make your blemish more unnoticable. It takes away the redness. You can get it at any store like CVS or Walgreens, just a pharmacy.. It destroys 99.9% of acne bacteria in one hour. It has 1% salicylic acid acne medication.
- Naturally remove blackheads. 2 cups of water, 5-8 drops of lavender oil, handful of basil, and pop them into a pan on the stove. Turn the stovetop to medium and let the mixture boil for about 5-6 mins. Once the mixture has boiled, pour the mixture into a bowl. Place your face over the bowl letting the steam hit and absorb into your face for about 10 mins. Take your baking soda, and a little bit of water, and make it into a paste. Massage thoroughly into skin. Wash baking soda off.
- Cheapest acne spot treatment. One un-coated aspirin tablet and 4 drops of water. Mash up using your finger and apply to problem spots. Wait a few minutes and rinse off. Works wonders on reducing redness and swelling and speeding the recovery of painful zits and pimples. Can also be used on entire face as a mask to reduce pore size and prevent acne.
Hope this helps! I use Neutrogena products.
Also, you don't need to keep your hands on your face.
Plus, it's summer so you don't really need to wear make-up. The make-up and sweat is bad, but if you do use make-up, make sure it has no talc. Or once your skin is cleared up, you could just wear water proof eyeliner or mascara and no foundation or powder, so your pours won't get clogged.
Make sure you wash your face everynight.
