    let n be the middle number

    the bigger number will be n + 2 and the smaller will be n - 2

    n^2 + 192 = (n + 2)^2

    n^2 + 192 = n^2 + 4n + 4

    188 = 4n

    n = 47 (the middle number)

    so the three numbers are 45 , 47 , and 49

    check: 47^2 = 2209

    49^2 = 2401

    2401 - 2209 = 192 check
