Will my amp push this Fi SSD?

I recently damaged my 12" Kicker L7 Somehow with my hifonics brutus 1200 at 2 ohms, so im looking to replace the sub. Now the Fi SSD (https://ssl.perfora.net/www.ficaraudio.com/sess/ut... has amazing reviews and is said by pretty much all forums ive found to be better then the L7. my question is can i push that sub with my amp which is here( http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_23548_Hifonics... and if i need to can i push it at 1 ohm with the full 1200 from the hifonics safely?

i would get the dual 2 ohm coils so i could run the amplifier at a 1 ohm load. if you are worried about running 1200 watts rms to a 1000 rms subwoofer spend the extra $30 and add the cooling option.

I have a Fi SSD with all the extra options and I run about 1300-1400 true watts to it. I beat the heck out of it for the last 2 years and it's still going strong. Got it a little too hot a few times as I could smell the voice coil.

They are tough subs and you shouldn't have a problem running 1200 to it daily. The L7's just don't compare in my book. The SSD is one of my favorite mid-level subs.

Also, most Hifonics amps are overrated about 10%-20%. I bet if you clamped it you'd only see about 1000 rms and that's before figuring box rise.

So I guess what I'm getting at is, buy a D2, wire it up at 1 ohm and and let it bang!!!
