I personally don't like puppy pads for inside, because it teaches them to go to the bathroom inside, but in a specific area. Take her out on frequent trips to use the bathroom, and praise her like CRAZY when she does! If you can catch her going inside, interrupt it (pick her up) and walk her outside to finish, then praise again. If she goes, and you find it later and put her nose in it, she won't remember what she did. humans may have that ability, but she won't know what she did wrong, and you won't be accomplishing anything.
Also, I recommend getting her a crate for overnight or when you're out/at work, etc. If it is the right size for her, she won't use the bathroom in it, because dogs won't use the bathroom where they lay. I recommend getting a crate that she will be able to fit in when she is full grown, but get one with a divider so that she only has enough room to lay as a puppy.
You will be doing some clean-up at first, but if you stick to a schedule with taking her out frequently and give her plenty of praise, it shouldn't take too long. :)
I have potty trained 5 dogs like this :)
