Is drinking listerine a canadian thing?
For homeless people? I never hear about it in the states, here many hobos are addicted to listerine. I seen them drinking it many times.
Is this commen everywhere. Cause whenever i type in a video of someone drinking listerine, its from canada.

Desperate alcoholics will drink anything with alcohol in it...even rubbing alcohol, which is a completely different kind, isopropyl alcohol to be exact, which is extremely toxic to humans....so i dont see why Listerine would be out of the question
I am sure there are people who do it in america, canada and many other countries for that matter....its hardly the weirdest thing people try for a cheap high

No, not even close.
In Canada, we don't even consider Listerine as something that contains alcohol. To us, any beer under 5% alcohol content is something for small children and the elderly. Much of our distilled hard liquor isn't only too strong for Americans, it's considered a hazardous material if not a chemical weapon.
Listerine doesn't even qualify as a cleaning solvent here. If a Canadian wants to get a buzz and can't afford alcohol, he / she will just drink straight gasoline. It's less potent than our whiskey and doesn't taste as good, but it's better than mouthwash. And mouthwash is better than American bourbon!

No it's definitely not a Canadian thing.
Even Australia has minty-fresh lushes, too:

You never hear about it in the states?
No offence, but try paying closer attention because it's happening there too.

It is probably less common in the U.S. because taxes on wine are very low, and White Zinfandel (a rosé of grapes not good enough for red Zinfandel) is very cheap.

It is a family tradition in Malaysia / Borneo. Mouth hygiene is extremely important.

I prefer PineSol, or Mr. Plumber.

It has alcohol in it.
Don't sit there and act like no one in your country does weird crap, either.
