Has any body check out the U.S. Department of Justice web site lately?

See for yourself: http://www.justice.gov/

It used to have a banner at the top with our flag. It has been replaced by stark black banner. Why BLACK? Hmmmm!! Something to think about.

Catchy, Quote too.

"The common law is the will of mankind, issuing from the life of the people."

Just one tiny little (too small to be relevant obviously) point -- the quote is from C. Wilfred Jenks, who in the 1930's was a leading proponent of the "international law" movement, which had as its goal to impose a global common law and which backed 'global workers' rights.'

Call it Marxism, call it Progressivism, call it Socialism -- under any of those names, it definitely makes the DOJ look corrupt in their new website with Marxist accessories to match.

Very interesting that 'they' couldn't find a nice quote from one of our Founders.

This is an example of the slow, methodical misuse of power our current government is doing as they lead us to socialism, and destroying our republic as we have known it.

Doesn't the actual inscription on the outer wall of the US department of justice read:

“The common law is the will of mankind issuing from the life of the people, framed by mutual confidence, and sanctioned by the light of reason.”

The 'light of reason' seems to be missing from the DOJ web site as well as this administration.

They just might be looking for a new picture of the American Flag. Why not let them use your avatar for the time being...

Whatever you might think of Mr. Jenks...Jenks was "one of the most prominent and prolific writers on international law of his time. His ... "Some constitutional problems of international organization" ... was for long the unrivalled source of instruction on that subject for professionals and academics alike...maybe you'll be so honored as to become the Storrs Lecturer in Jurisprudence at Yale University some day...

You said BLACK is the color of Marxism?

No, it's not black. It's red. Black is the color of.....black. Also, backing "workers rights" using a capitalist government doesn't sound very Marxist. Sounds more liberal and reformist.

A Marxist would advocate overthrowing the international order and replacing it with communism (whatever process is involved in between). Let me know when the Justice Department supports this.
