Is registration and getting licence plates two different processes for a car?
Do I need to register and then fill out a form for licence plates or does registration also get you the licence plates ?

So long as your plates and registration usually are not expired, you will not get stopped for that. However if you get stopped for something else (run a mild, speeding, etc) and the cop wants to be tough, he can nail you for that too. Additionally make sure your coverage enterprise will nonetheless cover you in case you have an accident. They like to understand where you are dwelling and using too. There is some hazard, but is it worth it for a hundred bucks?

Getting license plates IS registering. They are one in the same. Once you have plates, you are registered.

if you getting the car rego,ed with normal issued plates it will be done as one process, if you getting custom plates (as in your own design plate) it maybe a 2 part process
