Best books like hunger games?

As the question says, I would like to know what are the best hunger games type of books.

I have looked around on the internet and found a few books that some people have said to be good, but I would like to have a final conclusion for like the top 5 or so. So far Battle Royale seems to be the best one, but there's also a few other books that seem really good.

10 points to the best answer.

My ultimate pick for you would be Divergent by Veronica Roth. For less-related (and mindblowingly epic) YA dystopian books, I also recommend Gone by Michael Grant, Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi, and if you're more romantically inclined, Wither by Lauren DeStefano.

The Maze Runner by James (3 books in series)

The Knife of Never Letting go by Patrick Ness (3 books in series)

Divergent by Veronica Roth (2 books so far)

And if you haven't read Harry Potter, they are amazing (7 books)
