SHOULD ERIC HOLDER BE IMPEACHED?

His department is trying to sue Florida because they are trying to prevent voter fraud. I guess Eric knows illegal aliens would be the only ones voting for Obama.ha ha ha. Well he is also on trial because hundreds of guns( that were related with the Justice department) ended up in Mexican drug carrel's hands?

Eric Holder is both corrupt and incompetent to be The Attorney General.

Eric Holder went to San Francisco to tell then san Francisco District Attorney Kamala Harris to stop her Criminal investigation of the former owners of World Savings.

The owners of World Savings had donated over $1,000,000 to Obama.

Because of that $1,000,000 donation, Obama did not want the former owners of World savings to be the subjects of a Criminal Investigation.

    That is CORRUPTION!!!

Eric Holder is merely a FIXER for the Obama Administration to prevent Criminal investigations of their friends and harass honest investigations that do not favor Obama.

The Madison City Clerk in Dane county Wisconsin reported that 119% of the Registered Democrats voted in the recall election of Republican Governor Scott Walker. When 119% of the Registered Democrats vote in an election, that is a clear indicator of massive voter fraud on the part of the Democrats.

It is long past time for Mr. Holder to be removed from office.

No, Eric Holder should not be impeached for the reasons you set forth. While it is debatable that Florida's intent to purge roughly 128,000 registered voters from their rolls is nothing more than attempt to avoid voter frauds, the Florida program is demonstrably riddled with flaws. For example, and most newsworthy, a WWII veteran was told his registration would be purged. There have been other issues with Florida's program.

More importantly, Florida's plan potentially (or actually) violates two federal election laws...a fact that Florida seems completely unconcerned about. Florida was warned repeatedly that it cannot remove black and latino voters from the rolls without Federal Election Commission (FEC) approval (this is based on a 1965 Federal law that sought to redress historic voter suppression laws across the South, including Florida.) Also, no state can cull the voting rosters within 90 days of an election of national importance. Florida has congressional primaries later this summer, which qualify as an election of national importance. And, less than 90 days later than that election, we will be voting for a POTUS again. From what I have read, Florida needed to act NO LATER THAN May 19th to not run afoul of this law.

Frankly speaking, not only is this Florida deal a non-issue, if anything Florida is trying to flex muscle which they don't have the right, under the United States Constitution (or the Florida constitution) to flex.

As for the gun issue, Eric Holder is not presently on trial or even charged with a crime.

    Source(s): Attorney, licensed since 2006.

You didn't read the case. A state is prohibited from making changes to the rolls within 90 days of an election. And a county which is suspect of violations because of previous violations of the Voters Rights Act of 1968 is prohibited from making changes without prior DOJ approval. Five such Florida counties have been proven to have illegally stricken legitimate voters from their roles in the past.

He has committed no crime in suing Florida, it was his duty. The Fast and Furious operation is still under investigation, but it wouldn't be the first secret government project to have gone horribly wrong.

Article II of the Constitution grants Congress the power to impeach “the president, the vice president and all civil officers of the United States.” for "High crimes and misdemeanors" The phrase “civil officers” includes the members of the cabinet.

But usually the President just asks for a resignation. The last one who was actually impeached was Secretary of War William Belknap in 1876.

Florida is using a typical Republican tactic of Voter Suppression. There is no demonstration of fraud, they are just trying to keep people from voting, because they hate our system of one person - one vote. They seem to prefer the eighteenth century system where only male property owners could vote.

it relatively is an unfair call for at this ingredient by using reality that a Presidential election is under 6 months away. you should in elementary terms vote him out. there is not any longer adequate time to question the President till now the election. that should take a 300 and sixty 5 days or 2.

You want to impeach him for suing Florida? And I don't see what the dun issue has to do with him suing Florida?

@ingsoc1 - "And you do not impeach a cabinet member" - Can you provide a source for your claim? And did anybody ever tell William W. Belknap that he could not be impeached when he was Secretary of War?

You have to be an elected official to be impeached. Holder was appointed.
