What is the difference between PCI Express 2.0 and 2.1?

I'm trying to install a video card on my computer, and here's the motherboard that I have http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8...

I saw some video cards are PCI Express 2.0 x 16, some are 2.1 x 16. Do they all fit in the PCI Express 16 slot?

Yep. Most pci ex cards can connect and work on probably all versions of pci ex. At present I'm using a pci ex 2.0 graphics card on a pci ex 1.0 mobo. The difference is in the bandwidth speed. 2.0 is 2 times faster than 1.0 in terms of bandwidth speed. But this doesn't mean you'll only use half the processing power of your graphics card.

    Hope this help.
