In the reaction 2CO(g) + O (g)  2CO (g), what is the ratio of moles of oxygen used to moles of CO produced?

    The correct equation is

    2CO(g) + O2(g) ---> 2CO2(g)

    the balanced equation tells you that you need 1 mole O2 to produce 2 moles of CO2

    So ratio O2 : CO2 is 1 : 2
