A "3/4 ton" truck can sometimes carry more -- my '77 K2500 rated to carry more than a ton. You should be know what your weight capacity is, but will be 1,500 to 2,500 pounds.
Shingles weigh about 190 pounds a square, 3 bundles to the square at Lowes, thus total weight of shingles will be 4750 pounds -- 1/2 to 1 /12 tons over your weight capacity.
Your truck *can* carry the weight, but the springs will be flat. Your tires would be the worry. You your tires will probably well over their carry capacity also. I am crazy, but even I would not try carrying that much weight over 30 mph.
Rent a U-Haul trailer and split the weight.
