USPS and Canada Post?

Question

I know that once a package enters canada it is dealt with by Canada Post, but I have a tracking number for USPS on my package so once the package enters canada, will i get a new tracking number for Canada Post or will it be the same?

(I Live in Toronto)

Also, I ordered a package with USPS on Sunday June 3rd. when should i be expecting it?

On the tracking info it says "Item Processed at Origin Sort Facility(Chicago)
