The Government of Canada has a special immigration option for that.

    It's called Canadian Experience Class.

Here's the information about it from the Citizenship & Immigration Canada website:

No. In fact you are specifically excluded from applying while under a study permit. In fact, you have to apply to actually move to Canada from outside the country.

For a relative to sponsor you, they must be very close - like a parent. A distant cousin is not enough.

After finishing your school you CAN apply for permanent residence or a work visa. Your relative MAY also be able to sponsor you. MUST be close relative.

You also need to be admitted to a school before you get a study permit.

No guarantees depends a lot on what you study.

Warning always watch for ".gc.ca" when looking at information. This is the government. Many AGENTS that will take your money and identification and promise whatever.

Once you finish a four year degree in something in demand in Canada, and have a job offer, you can apply for permanent residence. No guarantee you will get it.

Once you are in Canada, you can apply for permanent residence. After being a permanent resident for at least 3 years, then you can apply for citizenship.

A study permit allows you to study in Canada as a foreigner. You are expected to return to your home country once your studies are done.
