Hemp is a low tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) strains of the plant Cannabis sativa (marijuana). Over 2000 varieties of cannabis are known, and about 90% contain only low-grade THC and are used for their fiber, seeds and oils. Hemp is believed to be our oldest cloth, and one of our oldest building materials, hemp-limestone composites have been found in ancient Roman architecture. Hemp has also been used for industrial purposes including paper, textiles, clothing, biodegradable plastics, construction materials such as Hemcrete, Canobiote, Canosmose, and Isochanvre. Hemcrete is easier to work than traditional lime mixes and provides some fair insulation properties. The uses for hemp are seemingly endless and are also used in body products, health food and bio-fuel.
Hemp is legally grown in many countries across the world including Spain, China, Japan, Korea, England, France, Africa, North Africa, Egypt and Ireland and even Canada.
In the U.S. hemp is commonly associated with the THC rich marijuana because of the stupidity of the potheads and their use of it as a drug, it has been pretty much banned in the U.S. and is not given its real value as a cash crop. Such a waste. The commercial success of hemp food products has grown considerably in other countries but not here in America.
Hemp is planted between March and May in the northern hemisphere, between September and November in the southern hemisphere. Hemp is grown best in open sunlight and is considered a good source of weed control, because of its height, dense foliage and its high planting density as a crop, it is a very effective and long used method of killing tough weeds in farming by minimizing the pool of weed seeds of the soil. Using hemp this way helps avoid the use or over use of herbicides.

For me, they advance extra sensible exterior. They get organic photograph voltaic and rain from nature. sunlight lighting fixtures and county water are easily much less sensible. You get larger plant life and blooms too! of direction, some green plant life (hoouseplants) like cool tempereatures. those could do extra sensible interior tremendously in case you do not have coloration. some issues might selection in case you had a sunroom.

Since it's asked, I suggest that you grow it outside, leaving U with less work and no electricity bills - having natural sunlight . Besides.............................this way all your neighbors can see it growing and call your local authorities. i.e. law enforcement officers...Source(s): I guess you didn't know you can go to prison for growing marijuana/possession/smoking/selling etc.Oh!
