If you have a Costco near-by, I have found that their prices are far lower than other places. Even if you don't have a membership to Costco, one can always use the pharmacy, as well as the eye clinic there without having to pay to be a member of Costco.

Costco Optical centers are located in most (if not all) Costco stores and once you have a Rx, your lenses can be ordered through their Costco.com service and delivered to you. They have good prices for eye exams and they have every option for contact lenses available.

The least expensive route may be online and all of the major companies offer every option of contact lenses. I would go with the .com's that have been established for a while. It's always best to have a basic eye exam. Vision changes over time, and that's why all places require a current Rx when one orders online or purchases lenses or glasses in a shop. If the Rx is over 1 - 2 years old then they will all require an updated Rx from an eye Dr. Once you already know which lenses you need, there is no reason why shopping online would be a problem.
