I need to convert 70g of NaN3 to moles. Can someone help me with this?

    Molecular weight od NaN3 = 65

    1 mole of NaN3 weighs 65 g

    70 g = 70/65 moles = 1.077 moles

According to Wikipedia, the molecular weight of NaN3 is 65.0099 g/mol. This means that for every 6.022x10^23 atoms of NaN3 (or 1 mol of NaN3), we have a mass of 65.0099g. Now that we know the information we need, let's calculate the number of moles.

    Dimensional analysis tells us that if we divide the mass (g) by the molecular weight (g/mol), we'll achieve moles, as shown: [g]*1/[g/mol] = [g]*[mol/g] = mol
