Safe to swim one day after dye?

Question

I dyed my hair yesterday morning (covering gray, used a medium-dark brown that matched my non-grays) ....

It's a gorgeous sunny day here today, and I want to swim in my pool... is it safe for my color? I don't have a swim-cap to use... :/

I used Nice-n-Easy color #118, permanent color

Yes, you should be able to. People usually say not to, but the fact of the matter is, they're scared, but nothing will really happen.
