what are some good techniques riding down a realy steep rock while mountain biking?

hey, i was wondering what are some good techniques for going down a really steep skinny, or rock...please help!

    the wider your bars are the more stable you'll be, and don't look down at your front wheel look ahead.

    You don't lean back, you move off the seat and keep your weight on the pedals. Keep the pedals in the 3 and 9 position. Most people have their seat too high, so you can't float off the back of the seat. You want to be a bit behind the seat, but keeping pressure on the pedals.

    If you lean back, your front brakes are ineffective.

    You want to be crouching as far back behind your seat, that is comfortable and still have control of you bike. Don't tense your arms, have them firmly on the handle bars, but bent at the elbows slightly. look out a little ways so you can see whats coming up and have time to make your move.
