why doesn't a website work when i type it in and search but works from a message i received?

my daughter sent me her wedding website in email and it works when i click on it, but when i type it in and search the web it doesn't come up...what's happening???

i think you are typing it on a search engine or what just type that link on the adressbar and there you go you are done
