A question on astral projection?

I have experienced sleep paralysis many times from as far back as I can remember. I have also been able to naturally have lucid dreams and my dreams were always overimaginative and a bit too vivid. I find that during sleep paralysis I feel myself coming out of my body, but I cannot and have never come out all the way. I have been able to roll out of my body halfway and know so because I feel my arm at a different place from where I can see my arm actually on the bed. However, during the sleep paralysis episodes, I always have an overwhelming irrational feeling of panic and a sense that there is something evil lurking. As a result, if I try to force myself completely out of my body, I feel too frightened and am prevented from doing so.

If anyone has been able to successfully get out of the body at this stage and knows what I'm talking about, I would love to know your experiences and how you manage to be relaxed enough during this stage.

    The fear is a huge hurdle for many people, and when it comes it may help to know nothing may harm you because you are non-physical. but you need to relax it's very important and can be practiced in meditation and the skill transfers to astral projection. focus on breath is helpful for some people, attention to heart rate can eventually teach you how to consciously control your heart rate.

    How much do you relax during the day? that's something to think about.

    It sounds like your problem is control over emotions however, it's important to recognize the fear but not to let it overwhelm you. Instead just ask why it is there, allow yourself to feel it even embrace it. once you confront your fear you may then let it go and go into a place of relaxation.

    No, no one has been able to do it, it's all rubbish and self delusion.

    It's one 'ability' which is very easily tested. All the subject has to do is 'project' to an elevation where they can see objects or messages left on top of a tall stand they can not otherwise see.

    No one has ever done this under properly controlled, double-blind test conditions.

    I also have lucid dreams and love them. I'm up to about 100 of them. I have also had sleep paralysis and the vibrations that sometimes goes with them, but I have no fear. I understand the fear is the big hurtle, but the most important one. First concentrate on surrounding your body with white light and energy and know this. You are a very powerful spiritual being and you can rule those negative energies. Let them know that you know just how powerful you are and they can not scare you or hurt you. I know this works because I have applied it. I have had this one entity swing me around by the astral legs and bring me down dark wells. This would scare me and I would scream to God, nothing happened, so I decided I had to be strong. The next time it happened I laughed at the entity. Once in a lucid dream it took me to a dark place and I could hear it come after me and it was making demonic noises . I laughed at it and said come at me, you don't scare me and I am way more powerful than you. It went away, not for good, but I made my point and have no fear of these beings.
