how to transfer email files from yahoo to windows live?

I have an acct with yahoo but want to transfer all my files to a new windows live acct

Download all your e-mails into Microsoft Outlook, connect Outlook to your Windows Live account by using IMAP (this is important) and just move the e-mails over.
