hurt the back part of my knee?

I was at varsity football practice, we were running drills and my partner had to push me as i held him back, i stepped on the cleate of a person in the group next to us, as they were to close, lost my balance, my partner kept pushing and all my body weight went to my leg and as i landed to the floor, i felt a huge amount of pain to the back right part of my knee and is still hurting today. injury occurred yesterday, any ideas what it can be?
