psp 2000 slim and 8gb memory card?

SO,i have a slim psp 2000 running on promethus 5.50, does it support an 8 gb memory stick? and is there a limit to 4gb or not?(an 8gb micro sd inserted in an sd-to-pro duo adapter) ?

from my understanding yes it does support an 8gb memory stick, I have a standard sized Sandisk pro duo 8gb for my PSP 2001.. if you want anything above that capacity you will need an adapter, and micro memory sticks, up to 32 gb maximum for the adapter which can hold 2 16gb micro sticks
