For Americans: Do you eat pasties?

do you eat pasties? or are they non existant over there. like corned beef pasties, bacon puffs and other pastries that they sell in shops over here in britain.

    They're popular in Michigan, but most Americans have never heard of them.

    Yes, we do, although in many places they are called "turnovers".

    I thought pasties were something strippers wore. Although I've never eaten one I may just enjoy it at that.
