Is the Edinburgh airlink bus free with a ridacard?

I've read they're "valid" for it but I dunno if that means they're valid in that they give a discount like the night bus or if it's free. It's a student ridacard if that makes a difference.

The airlink bus is free if you have a ridacard. So you can eveb use the airlink bus as a quick way to Corstorphine. You do have to pay for the special 98 service to Ingliston during shows etc.
