Are you intimidated by "tough" people?

I mean I don't mind going for a drink with my buds but I consider them straight laced people ya know....ones who are easy going and not laddish and maybe a little nerdy but nice people.

Whenever I meet someone slightly "tough" I get instantly intimidated. I don't really know why as realistically nothing would happen being I am a laid back and friendly type person its just if someone has that "hardman" thing about them with the ear rings tattoo's and tuffguy type body language I just don't like it. I feel more on edge even if they are not liable to be hostile.

Does anyone feel the same? can anyone relate? is it just an instinct type worry omong some men who are not "tough" and just straightlaced?

I don't. But then, I did at one time. I've reached the point where I've been victimized too many times. Now, I don't care what others think or what they try to do. I'll fight to the death if necessary. I have very little to lose.
