Since the current two-party system is a complete failure........?

Will we see an Independent Presidential Candidate win the election within the next decade or so?

Since 60% of the middle are not represented by the left wing Democrats and right wing Republicans, its time for most people to join the Libertarian party.

I hardly see how the US would progress from a national-level two-party state unless the Republicans break between Libertarians and Moderates, or the Democrats break between the Socialists and Liberals.

In order for the will of the people to be expressed properly, I would prefer a seven-party state on the national level. Socialists, Social Democrats, Liberals, Moderates, Conservatives, Christian Conservatives, and Libertarians.

However, due to the phenomena described by Torqueville in the 19th century, "the Tyranny of the Majority", the independents mostly remain local at best. Sad, because Vermin Supreme is clearly the most qualified candidate:

Everything these days is a "complete failure." I'm tired of everyone calling everything a complete failure. Government is a complete failure, Romney was a complete failure, Obama is a complete failure, the Mets are a complete failure. It gets old and it's obviously not true.

We have more than two parties. The people can vote for any of the others any time they want.
