what did Landon Carter mean when he said "I now believe that miracles do happen?"

what is he referring to...

i mean he wanted Jamie to live and not die(miracle),but she dies in the end...

It's like this:

Most would believe that the miracle being referred to in the book is Jamie getting cured, but that's not it. Wasn't it that Jamie's dream was to witness a miracle? She did, and that miracle was Landon. :)
