So all of these were in my English exam today,and I just wanted to know if I got them right :) these are only a few questions,not all of them obviously

1)Tigers consume a massive amount of meat to stay alive.

In this sentence,does a massive amount mean "a large amount" or "excessive amount"?

2)Punctuate the sentence :
